Code of Conduct

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Cuter exists to be a calm, kind place where anyone can be themselves without fear. These rules aren't here to be strict for the sake of it โ€” they're here so you can let your guard down. By joining our Discord, you agree to follow them. The short version: be kind, be safe, and look out for each other.

1. Treat everyone with kindness and respect

2. Keep it safe-for-work and age-appropriate

3. Protect the calm

4. Support each other responsibly

5. Respect privacy

How we enforce this

Our volunteer moderation team and automated tools (AutoMod, verification, and anti-raid protection) are active around the clock. Depending on the situation, we may give a friendly reminder, a warning, a timeout, or โ€” for serious or repeated harm โ€” a removal or permanent ban. Severe violations (threats, hate, predatory behavior, doxxing) skip straight to a ban.

Reporting & appeals

If you see something that breaks these rules or makes you feel unsafe, please report the message in Discord or reach a moderator privately โ€” you can do this anonymously. We take every report seriously and will never punish you for asking for help in good faith. If you believe a moderation decision was a mistake, you may appeal it by contacting the staff team; we'll review it fairly.

A note on scope

Cuter is a peer-support community and is not a clinical, medical, or emergency service. Our moderators are caring volunteers, not crisis responders. In an emergency, always contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. Read the full disclaimers on our support page.

Thank you for helping keep Cuter the kind of place people are glad they found. ๐ŸŒธ
